Shrii Shrii Anandamurti, founder of Ananda Marga and spiritual preceptor of the movement once visited the Berlin Wall in mid 1979 when it was dividing East Germany from West Germany. He predicted its fall with the following words: "A wall of concrete and mortar can not divide humanity in this manner...then he gazed into the deep sky and made some gesture with his index finger and declared, this wall would be torn down soon with hammers, even small children would participate." It happened, exactly as he indicated, ten years later, in 1989.
Humanity is one and cannot be divided into many. The visit of Ananda Marga to the Berlin wall during the Tour of Rev. Ac. Vishvadevananda Avt. in his first visit outside India has brought Ananda Marga again on the front page of leading newspaper in Germany recognizing its contribution to human welfare at large.
