Receiving the news of the relief in Monterrey has been of particular pleasure. I got the news of hurricane from a good frined in Tampico Mexico telling that a torrential rain has been hitting the northern region of Mexico. Her cousin in Linares was not in touch and she was very worried also for me knowing that I had friends and coworkers in Monterrey. Not long after Dada Shubhacetananda called me from Monterrey telling that he was in Monterrey and he was proceeding for Curnavaca in Mexico. How comes - I thought - no relief work when he is just by some cosmic arrangement on the spot to give help? The relief did actually happen and the timing was perfect. The news are below as I received them:
¨You know very well that there was a hurricane in Northern Mexico in the beginning of July, and due to that many houses and roads and bridges has been destroyed together with so many other things. So, when this hurricane was over, after that last Saturday on 10th of July we went to do relief work to the nearby town of Garcia, and we distributed , cloths, soap, cookies , beans, oil, towel paper, bottled water to more than 250 people. We were my self , Dada Advaeyananda, Dada Shubhacetanananda, Brother Phanindra, and 6 more volunteer, for helping to the people in need.¨
