In two weeks, together with Didi Ananda Mamata, the margiis Salvador, Yuktatman and others, there was an unbroken series of activities ranging from university conferences to shopping in the Artisan Market. "Guatemala is a wonderful place full of colors and surprises. Everything happens like magic and the energy there allows to do what is not possible to even think about in other places," Dada said. Salvador was the main organizer and a perfect host, according to Dada. "I stayed few days at his house enjoying the light atmosphere and spiritual company. One time we went to visit Dr. Roca and we both received a treatment on the spot. It's difficult to describe how Dr. Roca can diagnosis illness...he just grabs your thumb and start telling you what you have and for what reason. We were invited to eat exotic fruit in the patio conversing about water therapy and other natural ways to heal," he said. At the university the psychology professors shared experiences regarding the mind and its strange ways. "Talking about reincarnation and cakras seemed to be very natural like something everybody knows about. The director of the department was the most passionate and remembered several incidents that brought her to expand the mind beyond the conventional thoughts. We all did meditation together and several questions were answered," he said. On the weekend Dada went to Haibalito on Lake Atitlan in the heart of the Mayan villages. "It was a nice devotional atmosphere where we just relaxed and enjoyed the fantastic vegetarian food of Didi. The kiirtans attracted some kids and also adults who wanted to know what we were doing," he said. The following weekend was dedicated to a PROUT seminar that saw around 15 people in two days. Three groups gave Proutistic solutions to local problems that will be implemented. More seminars and study circle are planned or will happen soon. A visit to Viresh in the Mayan municipality of Xenocoj gave the opportunity to plan a training from July 25 till August 30 for Full Time Volunteers of Ananda Marga. He offered his house and he will organize work in the fields he is managing. "He gave us the gift of a ball of soap made out of ashes and I am very curious to learn how to do it," Dada said. Guatemala is a rich country with beautiful people and still intact natural resources. Fifty percent of its population is of Mayan origin who seem to trace their ancestors to South India. Ananda Marga has many projects there including one school, two yoga centers, and two master units. There are several naturopathic clinics curing any type of disease.
