The neo-humanistic school in Haiti is located in a poor neighborhood in the capital Port Au Prince. Its 250 students receive kinder and elementary education. Haiti is an ideal service place and in Ananda Marga we give special attention there with development projects that aim to bring the country off the poverty cycle. Education is the main tool and our students receive an ideal education composed of literacy and practical knowledge to gether with spirituality. They practice martial arts and gardening together with the regular curriculum. They receive computer classes and have a meal provided with the help of the World Food Fund. We started a project for sponsoring the students who are most in need. We selected 50 of them and we collected information about their parents and livehood to make sure that they deserved a special benefit. We made sure with the teachers that they were model students and they could not have the privilege of a quality education without external support. We hope you can understand our endeavor and establish a relationship with the students of this special school in the heart of the Caribbeans. The project is just a start for extending such a help to all the students in all the schools that are in similar need.
