Yet Dada Divyalokeshananda has accepted the challenge to make of the Ananda Marga Center in Corona, New York an ideal place for spiritual development. He is giving regular yoga classes to adults and kids receiving good appreciation. Yoga, he explains, does not mean only physical exercises. About 18 months ago a long-time Margi attended our DC, after recently having moved to the Madison area. He inquired into our service projects, and encouraged us to do more than we currently were. Shortly thereafter, he brought to DC a couple of people who had recently moved to Madison as refugees from Bhutan, and introduced us to them and their stories. We were charmed and inspired. |

Your Mission Human beings cannot propagate a great ideology by their knowledge, intellect or social status alone. They can only do it through their conduct. Human conduct gets purified by intuitional practices. It is not necessary that one should come from a so-called high family, or that one should have completed university studies. Rather, these factors may create false vanity in one’s mind which may ultimately stand in the way of reforming one’s conduct. |

Scones are made exactly like biscuits, but cut into triangles and are a bit sweet. Scones can be frozen before or after baking in freezer bags. Makes 12 scones 3 cups unbleached all-purpose flour, white spelt flour, or part whole wheat pastry flour 3 tablespoons organic cane sugar 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt Grated zest of 1 organic orange or 1 teaspoon orange oil 10 tablespoons (1 1/4 sticks) cold butter, cut into pieces |

The world of living beings has been created within the imagination of Parama Puruśa. It is the resolution of Taraka Brahma to emancipate living beings, but only those who want liberation get liberation. When a human wants or longs for liberation, they attain the sadguru. Muktyákáuṋkśayá sadgurupráptih. However some want liberation and some do not. One person wants liberation but does not get it, while another gets liberation even though they do not want it. What kind of a thing is this? Some people say,máuṋganá marań samán hái, mat koi máuṋgo bhikh [to beg like death, so do not beg]. Then some other say biná máuṋge motii miile, máuṋge miile ná rákh [You can get the boon of emerald without asking, but not even ashes if you beg for them]. |
